Women’s Football Podcast: It’s AS Roma’s to lose now

There was drama all over the table in Serie A Femminile during Matchday 16 as Juventus were beaten and Sassuolo became further entrenched in the relegation fight. We're here to chat through the action.

Matchday 16 in Serie A Femminile changed the complex of the entire season as the gap at the top grew by three points and the relegation battle got even tighter.

Juventus‘ defeat to AC Milan in Turin, coupled with AS Roma’s narrow 1-0 win over Como means that the Giallorosse have not got a commanding eight-point lead over the Bianconere. They could feasibly lose twice against Juve in the split and still win their first-ever title.

Towards the bottom of the table, Sassuolo were beaten 3-0 by Inter and there was a draw between Parma and Pomigliano down in Campania which means there is one point to separate the bottom four teams in the league.

To chat through the action, Euan Burns is hosting the Women’s Football Podcast and getting all the details from Conor Clancy. They were both at Inter 3-0 Sassuolo in Milan over the weekend.
