Women’s Football Podcast: Juventus stutter at Sassuolo… the title race is on!

The 2022/23 Serie A Femminile season is already a lot more open than we had expected it to be, and we're back with the Matchday 4 Women's Football Podcast.

Matchday 4 of the 2022/23 Serie A Femminile has us getting very excited at this still-early stage of the season, with Juventus having dropped points for the second time this season away at a good-looking Sassuolo side and AS Roma and Inter both winning again.

To chat through all of Matchday 4, host Euan Burns and Conor Clancy are here with the Women’s Football Podcast, with Conor having been at the Stadio Enzo Ricci to watch the thriller that the Neroverde and Bianconere played out. You can read his piece from the weekend here.

As always, the Women’s Football Show is available here exclusively to subscribers on Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball. To join us for weekly women’s football podcasts, preview podcasts and European football podcasts, you can sign up for just €2, €5 or €10 a month.

That result in Emilia-Romagna was probably the biggest, and Roma came from behind again to beat Fiorentina 2-1 in the capital, while Inter continued their impressive start by ending Sampdoria’s 100% record.

Euan has also been writing about Roma and, specifically, goal-getter Valentina Giacinti. You can read that here.

Elsewhere, AC Milan continued to find their feet by hammering Parma 4-0 at the Tardini, while Pomigliano and Como played out a 2-2 draw in a downpour in Campania.
