Women’s Football Podcast: AS Roma and Juventus claim big wins over the Milanese two

Wins for AS Roma and Juventus kept them six points apart whilst things are looking worrying for Sampdoria. We're here with the Women's Football Podcast to chat through it all.

There were some significant results on Matchday 11 in Serie A Femminile as both AS Roma and Juventus won tough games against the two Milan sides. There was also a worrying defeat at the bottom for Sampdoria whilst Sassuolo and Parma played out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Roma’s win came away at AC Milan as Manuela Giugliano struck twice to make it 2-0 to the Giallorosse. Juventus’s points came thanks to a hard-fought 2-0 win away at Inter on a pitch that left a lot to be desired.

Sampdoria look like they are heading towards a relegation fight after a great start to the season as they were beaten 1-0 by Pomigliano, whilst Fiorentina got another win that they did not make easy for themselves.

To chat through the action, Euan Burns is hosting the Women’s Football Podcast and getting all the details from Conor Clancy who was at the Sassuolo-Parma game.

As ever, the Women’s Football Podcast in which we talk through the Serie A Femminile action is available exclusively here to subscribers to Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball, where there are €2, €5 and €10 tiers available.
