Serie A Femminile returned for its first round of games in 2023 after a long break and Matchday 13 certainly did not disappoint when it comes to goals and drama. There was a twist at the top with Juventus dropping points, and Sampdoria continue to fall down the order.
Juventus were 1-0 up against Sassuolo until 16-year-old Manuela Sciabica netted an equaliser for the Neroverdi in stoppage time. That was even more important considering AS Roma had beaten Fiorentina 7-1 earlier in the weekend, extending their lead over Juve to five points.
Inter continued their fine form as they comfortably beat Sampdoria 4-0 with goals from Tabitha Chawinga, Ghoutia Karchouni, Elisa Polli and Chiara Robustellini. AC Milan beat Parma 2-0 at home and Pomigliano won an important game against Como 1-0.
