Matchday 7 of the 2022/23 Serie A Femminile season could be looked back on as a crucial one when all is said and done. There was major action at both the top and the bottom and our perceptions of certain teams changed once again.
To chat through all of Matchday 7’s action, Euan Burns is joined by Conor Clancy for the Women’s Football Podcast. A written round-up is also available from Euan which focuses more on Juventus and AC Milan. You can read that here.
As ever, the Women’s Football Podcast in which we go through all of the weekend’s Serie A Femminile action is available exclusively here to subscribers over on Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball, where there are €2, €5 and €10 tiers available.

As mentioned, Juventus’s 4-3 defeat against AC Milan was the major result of the weekend. It is one that adds further fuel to the idea of a genuine Serie A Femminile title race. AS Roma were the real winners as they beat Como 1-0.
They were also helped by Inter only managing a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo. Fiorentina continued their form with a 2-1 win over Sampdoria and Parma were beaten 3-1 by Pomigliano.
