Women’s Football Podcast: AC Milan are silly, while AS Roma and Juventus are just good

There was a bad defeat for AC Milan in Serie A Femminile on Matchday 8 whilst Juventus and AS Roma got three points each.

Matchday 8 of the 2022/23 Serie A Femminile season threw up some fascinating results at both ends of the table, the standout perhaps being AC Milan’s defeat away at Pomigliano. As well as that, Juventus and AS Roma both got wins in big games.

The defeat for Milan has seriously dented any hopes they had of getting into the title race. They had the chance to gain on some teams because Juventus faced Fiorentina and Inter hosted Roma. It was Juve and the Giallorossi who won those games but Milan couldn’t take the chance.

Elsewhere, Parma drew 0-0 with Sampdoria which put an end to Fabio Ulderici’s time in charge of Parma. There was also a dramatic 2-2 draw between Como and Sassuolo.
