The focus was primarily at the bottom of the Serie A Femminile table during Matchday 3 of the playoff phase as Como hosted Parma. There was a vital victory for the home team who moved above Parma and away from the relegation playoff place.
That was not the only good news for Como in the week as Matilde Pavan and Chiara Beccari were handed their first call-ups to the Italian Women’s National Team senior squad for the Azzurre’s friendly against Colombia, scheduled for 16:30 CEST on Tuesday, April 11.
AS Roma Women beat AC Milan 3-1 which helped to secure their place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League for another season, whilst Fiorentina beat Inter 1-0 to grab third place in the table. Lana Clelland scored again as Sassuolo beat Pomigliano 2-0.
We’ve got Euan Burns hosting and Conor Clancy joining him to chat through all of the latest Serie A Femminile action.
