Women’s club football returns from the international break this coming weekend and Women’s Serie A moves into the second half of its regular season with Matchday 10, with champions and leaders AS Roma looking to continue their perfect start to the season as they host an AC Milan side still under new coach Davide Corti after the sacking of Maurizio Ganz.

The Giallorosse have won each of their 10 games so far this season, seeing them three points above second-placed Juventus in second, whose only loss so far this term came at home to Roma. Before Roma host Milan for Sunday’s early kick-off, Juventus will be welcoming Pomigliano to Biella on Saturday afternoon.

Inter vs Sampdoria opens the weekend’s action and officially marks the return of women’s club football, while Napoli Femminile are still seeking their first point at home to a Como Women side who have enjoyed an unexpectedly bright start and sit in the top half of the Women’s Serie A table.

The weekend comes to an end on Monday evening, with Sassuolo hosting Fiorentina at the Stadio Enzo Ricci.

Where to watch Women’s Serie A?

The 2023/24 Serie A Femminile season remarkably began with a television rights deal having been agreed upon, which was a major concern for the clubs given it’s an important part of their finances. As a compromise, the first matchday passed by with only the free-to-air game being broadcast and matches being shown on the FIGC website as a temporary measure.

Fortunately, a deal was reached with DAZN and a TV deal is now in place, which began from Matchday 2 and includes coverage in Italy and overseas.

As well as being available in Italy, the DAZN deal allows for Serie A Femminile games to be streamed on the platform in the United States of America, Canada, Japan, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium and Poland.

DAZN also stream selected games live on their YouTube page for free.

There is a free-to-air game each week and this season, that is being shown by Rai Play, rather than La7 as was the case last season. The free-to-air game on Rai is available online and on television in Italy.

The free-to-air game on Matchday 10 of the 2023/24 Serie A Femminile season is Sassuolo vs Fiorentina on Monday evening. That will be shown for free on Rai Play.

DAZN also stream games live on their YouTube page for free. On Matchday 10 you will be able to watch AS Roma vs AC Milan at no cost on Sunday. They do sometimes add free games at the last minute, so it is worth keeping an eye on their YouTube page.
