With men’s club football away for the third international window of the 2023/24 season, Serie A Femminile continues this weekend with Matchday 8, and there is one fixture in particular that stands out as Juventus host Inter in the Derby d’Italia.
The Bianconere will be keen to keep pressure on league leaders AS Roma Women, with the Giallorosse already three points above their closest chasers. By the time Juventus kick off against Inter, that gap could well be six points as Roma take on Sassuolo hours earlier on Sunday. Alessandro Spugna‘s champions themselves face a test as they had less time to prepare for their game this weekend after an impressive 2-2 draw away at Bayern Munich in their Women’s Champions League opener in midweek.

The weekend’s action kicks off on Saturday with Fiorentina hosting Como Women, and the visitors will be looking to bounce back after falling against Juve last time out. AC Milan also host Sampdoria on Saturday.
Sunday’s games see Sassuolo host Roma, Juventus welcome Inter to Biella, and there’s a derby in Campania as the bottom two face off with Napoli visiting Pomigliano.
Where to watch Serie A Femminile?
The 2023/24 Serie A Femminile season remarkably began with a television rights deal having been agreed upon, which was a major concern for the clubs given it’s an important part of their finances. As a compromise, the first matchday passed by with only the free-to-air game being broadcast and matches being shown on the FIGC website as a temporary measure.
Fortunately, a deal was reached with DAZN and a TV deal is now in place, which began from Matchday 2 and includes coverage in Italy and overseas.
As well as being available in Italy, the DAZN deal allows for Serie A Femminile games to be streamed on the platform in the United States of America, Canada, Japan, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Belgium and Poland.
DAZN also stream selected games live on their YouTube page for free.
There is a free-to-air game each week and this season, that is being shown by Rai Play, rather than La7 as was the case last season. The free-to-air game on Rai is available online and on television in Italy.
