Serie A Femminile was back with five games of action on Matchday 9 which saw a Milan derby between Inter and AC Milan, as well as an intriguing clash in Rome as Fiorentina took on AS Roma.

It was the Nerazzurre that ran out winners in Milan, as Michela Cambiaghi continued her excellent season by powering in a header. It was Davide Corti‘s first match in charge of Milan but they suffered another defeat.

Roma required two superb goals from Giada Greggi and Benedetta Glionna to ensure they maintained their 100% record at the top of the table, winning 2-1 at the Stadio Tre Fontane.

Juventus went away to Napoli and won 3-1, but they will be concerned about the ankle ligament damage that Julia Grosso sustained. Sassuolo were 4-0 winners at Sampdoria and Como vs Pomigliano ended 0-0.
