Women’s Serie A has been away since the end of the regular season with the Italy Women’s National Team in action against Ireland and then England, and in the meantime the fixtures for the Poule Scudetto and Poule Salvezza have been confirmed by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).

With Sara Gama having retired from the Azzurre after 18 years and 140 appearances with Conor Clancy in attendance at Viola Park against Ireland, he joins Euan Burns to talk through the internationals and to look ahead to the return of club football.

The guys also chat through the rather humbling hammering handed to the Azzurre by England, and also take a quick look ahead at the fixtures for the playoff phase of the season as the Poule Scudetto and Poule Salvezza approach after the Coppa Italia semi-finals.

As ever, the Women’s Football Podcast in which we talk through the Serie A Femminile and Italy Women’s National Team action is available exclusively here to subscribers to Patreon.com/TotalItalianFootball, where there are €2, €5 and €10 tiers available.
