World Cup: Which Serie A players are playing in Group G and Group H today?

Thursday has another four more World Cup matches for us. But which Serie A players could be in action in Groups G and H today?

Thursday sees four more Qatar 2022 World Cup fixtures scheduled and there are a number of Serie A players hoping to be involved after Group E games on Wednesday saw the only group in which there are no players plying their trade in Italy’s top tier.

World Cup Groups G and H are the final two to get started on the fifth day of the tournament in Qatar and Groups A and B return for their second matchday on Friday.

What are today’s World Cup fixtures?

The World Cup fixtures for Thursday, November 24 involve the teams from Group G and Group H. Group G consists of Switzerland, Cameroon, Brazil and Serbia. Group H contains Uruguay, South Korea, Portugal and Ghana.

Thursday’s games start at 11:00 CET with Switzerland vs Cameroon in Group G before Group H takes centre stage at 14:00 with Uruguay vs South Korea. Portugal vs Ghana is at 17:00 before Brazil vs Serbia at 20:00 ends the day’s action.

Which players from Serie A are playing in the World Cup today? 

With as many as 65 Serie A players called up to the 2022 World Cup, you don’t have to look to far to see one involved in a game. Only Group E contains no Serie A players.
